transfer of data from demo

Did anyone get their data from the demo on the full game?. Mine didnt anyone else

did you download it to the ssd you downloaded and played the demo on?

yeah both demo and main game are on the SSD

Delete (or transfer the folder somewhere save) ~/.steam/steam/userdata/<user-id>/2515020/ and try again, maybe it finds the demo data then

i will check that too looked in the demo prefix folder for the data too couldnt see it just png images weird

I looked into the folder and all I saw was 1 file remotecache.vdf

When I first loaded the game, it said there was an error transferring the save data. I started a new game and exited 30 seconds later. Verified files, everything was good. Uninstalled the demo from Steam, booted up FF16 and it automatically transferred the data on start up.

trying now for like 3 hours to get the demo data... i should have restarted it

it just worked for me. i dont even have the demo and full game on the same drive. it just detected the demo save and let me continue.

My saves from the demo transferred as soon as I got into the full game with no issues

Same problem here, tried everything I could think of with no avail. Please Help.

I changed pcs between demo and release but i redownloaded the demo i got the data located but nothing seems to work, I even refinished the demo from a save near the end.
