assasins creed for example has over 100hours of gameplay and do you know with what they stretch the gameplay? with collecting useless treasure chests and other dumb sidequests which NOONE needs. if you dont do anything of it and ignore everything and only do the mainstory are you in under 10 hours done with assasins creed valhalla.
i am happy that the final fantasy games dont do crap like this and IF they do get you often AWESOME things out of it such like a weapon which tops everything, not just some dumb crafting materials or a few flowers.
i would bet aswell that if FF16 would have like 100hours+ to play through would you never finish it because you have probably not the time and/or patience and move on to another game.
the problem nowadays is that games are WAY TOO LONG!
take FF14 for example: it takes you about 100hours to get even to the fun part (and where classes which is around lv 70+ getting fun to play) but peoples complain that it needs SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!!!!
cool or? but shouldnt they be happy that it needs long? =P
srsly, i would bet you wont finish FF16. you start another game before you are done with FF16
Oh I thought those unlocked as you completed chapters. But alright one more thing.
i rather have a very good game which is only 10 hours long for iunno maybe 30€ (which indiegames nowadays often do) then a game which gets artificially stretched with forced sidequests or you enter hard/nightmare mode if you dont do said things.
ubisoft proven multible times how horrible it can get and i am happy that square enix hasnt done this stuff yet.
so, you can be sure that ya have in these 50hours a GOOD game ... and not a game which tries to force you to go to this and that spot to conquer a fort or whatever and as reward get you like 5 flowers etc. >_>.
because i can tell you, assasins creed valhalla is fcking hard if you ignore all the sidequest stuff. you´re literarly forced to do it and with that stretch they artificially the game which is without the forced sidequest stuff only 5~10 hours.
I also completed AC vahalla as well as many other AC games
Alright if you beat that there's no way you'll have trouble with this. I commend you. I could not get passed the part where you get a base. Twice I tried.
As long as I get an hour of entertainment per dollar I will consider it a good investment.
Well I meant that I found those games so boring I couldn't play any further, especially valhalla. I still would like to give odyssey a shot some time in the future.
True. Even though some games have fun achievements (opinions might differ). As example Hollow Knight or Black Mesa as example. Or even Halls of Torment. But some games have awful ones!
