Square might not do a winter sale and they're pretty stingy with discounts.

In any case, so long as you haven't played the game for more than 2 hours, you can request a refund and buy it again if it's cheaper during Christmas sale.

don't buy it, there is glaring performance issues right now and the game on multiple pcs has been randomly freezing. I can't even play for 15 minutes on a ryzen 7 5700x3d, 64gb ddr4 ram, and a 4060 without it freezing or randomly crashing. I would wait for awhile till a better sale in case they patch the issues multiple people like me are experiencing. I can't get a refund and have cancelled my preorder of rebirth due to the issues with FF16, I have tried lowering the settings to the lowest they can go, uninstalled and reinstalled, tried redownloading the shaders and none of it works. you are better off waiting till they patch the game and do a better sale or just skipping this release entirely

This game is really good. I would reccomend getting it with the DLC for the whole package all together makes for a much better game.
I will say the game doesn't start getting really good until you unlock some of your powers and get a little older like around 12 hours in. Im 35 hours in and just had the game open up even more with even more skills its a great game. 9/10 imo. if it had a more open world instead of traveling all over to so many different open zones it would of been 10/10. Im still not even close to completing the game yet it is a massive game.

you sure that's not an amd issue? i9-14900K w/ the same graphics card & played the demo for 3 hours straight w/o fps issues nor crashing.

Play the demo first, if you like it you can buy it, and if you do buy it your save will just move to the full game so you can continue where you left off.

oh, i've played it before on playstation, just slowly migrating over to pc and rebuilding my library

if you plan on buying it i don't think it will be cheaper till mid 2025, so if you want to wait that long, or wanna replay it now/soon then let that guide you, also check sites like greenmangaming if they sell in your country, it might be cheaper for the steam key that way.
