New patch today? (v1.03)

Just got a 1.5GB download and its "patching" the game so its not shader downloads or whatever.

Don't see any recent patch notes though

Edit: it looks like its a new version of the game, my exe shows version 1.03, the previous version was 1.02 from last year

not sure but a huge pet peeve of mine is devs releasing updates and not documenting ♥♥♥♥ about it until way later. why, why can't you put out a list of changes when you publish the update. sad.

should be keeping the list up-to-date when you make a change to the coding. very basic coding practices.

I also received the update and wish I could see what the changes are. The Square Enix website even lists "October 17th, 2024" as being the date of the most recent update (1.02) for the game.

It amazes me how most of the time, AAA games made by big companies are the ones without patch notes. Most indie games always have patch notes. IMO, patch notes should be mandatory when uploading a game update.

There's a news post for patch 1.03 now. Also, while not mentioned, the update reduces the game's exe size by a lot, which often indicates Denuvo's been taken out.

Version Update 1.03 is now available for download. This update addresses several issues including the following:

Graphics not displaying properly on certain screens.
Textual errors in select languages.

Also, when you check the frontpage you don't see the Denuvo note anymore. I think they removed it.
