But anyway.... the game is very vram hungry, so while some people have gotten away with 8gb vram cards, many many have issues with them. I would say you want 12, preferably 16 to be safe from stuttering. Then again you may be just fine with 8. Or you may have trouble even with a 4090. I've seen it all.
But for me, it was a great experience with breathtaking graphics and good performance. The vram was very high, so high at first I thought there might have been a leak but further investigation revealed no leak... it just uses a lot of damn vram.
Also, pcie bandwidth is important too. You don't need 4x16, but at least 3x16 or 4x8 really is advisable. And please don't put your gpu in a slot that goes through the chipset! (yes... seen that here too....)
But yes, I'd recommend PC over console any day.
It's mostly people who don't have a PC as good as yours but demand good performance anyway.
