There are. I haven't played any games with Denuvo since 2018 when I found out about it. I've probably saved thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours of my time not playing games. I don't know why they don't want my money.
There is blog from Maurice Heumann, DRM engineer, that did reverse engineer Denuvo and show the impact is around 1%. You can google it, is called "Bypassing Denuvo in Hogwarts Legacy".

It depends on the game. It's also just one aspect of why it's bad.
How are they gonna have a sale but not remove the Denuvo malware? This makes no sense to me. I guess they hate money.
Yeah but I don't like being treated as a criminal when I'm a paying customer. Sorry!
Denuvo being in a game makes you feel like a criminal? Publishers are allowed to put DRM in their games, and besides, you're not buying the game, you're buying a license to access the software.
I have 3 games left in my library that still have Denuvo that I refuse to install anymore.
Mad Max: Game is completely Denuvo free on other platforms but still has it on Steam after 9 years.
Far Cry 5: Still has Denuvo after 6 years,
Total War Warhammer: Still has Denuvo after 8 years.
I do not buy games that have Denuvo. SEGA alone has missed out on a 4 figure amount of money from me. I don't know what is wrong with them. If I like a game I'll even buy it for other people. I have money. Why do they not want my money?
Psst... games you buy on Steam, you don't own.
When did I say that? I know how software licensing works.
Okay, so why complain then? If you know how it works, what result do you think complaining is going to get you?
The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I am letting it be known that I am not purchasing A LICENSE FOR SOFTWARE if that software comes with Denuvo. You're just making a semantic argument. The situation remains the same.
