It’s the standard Square Enix method, it does it for every game. It even remove games on iOS.

At most one or two very small patches at the beginning then forget.

bruh if you have stuttering issues in this game it comes from your PC or you don't know how to optimize games lol, this game is buttery smooth asf...

The port is barely optimized on pc, even tho it was alrdy bad on ps5. Stop saying crap.

Might help you or those who are looking for fix for their own, these steps helped me somewhat. The game doesn't stutter as bad as before. Here are the sources:

My rig:
RTX 4060 8GB
Ryzen 5 3600
16 GB GDDR4
SSD 250 GB

Before I got 40-60 fps with stutter, after the fix stable 60-70s up to 100 fps on empty areas (dlss+framegen on) with minimum stutters. This game is pretty heavy, ngl. Best of luck.

Don't run games at ultra, it's a setting meant for screenshots, not actual gameplay.

4090 here and the game indeed stutter a lot but only in towns, other parts are fine.

ur rig have a big issue if you have problem on this game don't always blame game when you have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ pc xD
