Game crash/freeze on specific cutscene

I’m playing this game on a Lenovo Legion Go and have progressed to about the last quarter. During the cutscene where Odin appears before Clive and Gav and casts a wall, the game crashes if I watch the scene, and freezes completely if I try to skip it.

I’ve tried different settings, redownloading the client, using FFFix, installing different drivers, and increasing the console's video memory/different compatibility (win8 etc), but nothing helps. Previously, I had similar issues with Typhon and Bahamut, but redownloading the client and using FFFix helped.

I really want to finish the game since I’m so close to the end, but I just can’t progress. I’d gladly skip the cutscene and watch it on YouTube, but that’s not an option, cause game didn't allow me to pass.

Has anyone completed the game on Legion Go? What else can I try?

Sorry to hear that but the game clearly doesn't design with low power devices in mind, your best options are using someone save to bypass that scene, or playing on a desktop ,also if you're from countries where Geforce Now is available maybe playing the game from it will help.

The game is poorly optimized, that's all! God of war ragnarok look much better and work much better aswell...

Game work on console just fine. Just that damned crashes on scenes. During gameplay i have more than enough fps rate

Which one? If you tell about ff16fix that unlock 60 fps on cutscenes. Yes, tried, no difference

yeah that & high cpu priority. If none work still, then ig the unique solution will be to use geforcenow or boosteroid if your pc cannot run it either.

I have the same issue with Bahamut cutscenes with one rtx3060ti and ryzen 3600 and I have the mod for the cutstcenes for 60 fps... I am playing in medium preset with fsr 3.1...

High cpu prior mod i didn't test, will try it.
I thought about GFN, unfortunately it impossible to join now and during next 5 weeks or maybe more, they doing transfer of payment system or smth.
Boosteroid have issues with cloud saves, some ppls lose their saves.

I wish, maybe somebody who passed game already and haven't issues can take my save and pass this section of game.

Deinstall and install again

I skipped it, finally. Solution was, much more weird than i unexpected. I downloaded game on my SteamDeck. Idk which magic proton did, but it played cutscene from start to end without any crashes. I finally able to proceed!
