You can try again, and maybe do a little bit of understanding or empathy. You know. Stuff you do when you talk to actual real people
you’re the only person getting insulted by epic choir music and super power in a final fantasy game
you’re literally posting your opinion on steam forum. If you post your opinion on a public forum then be prepared to be judged.
And yup, ffxvi is really good!
Then looking at the more modern set of games, 13 and 15 came in noticeably higher than even FF7 did. So in spite of your opinions, or community opinion in general, it's just better business for them to make the newer game styles.
(Yes I know the mmo's are there too and they make considerably more than all other categories. But it's a vastly different pricing model)
Yeah that's most likely the reason, but they're still using the Final Fantasy name. That is the problem.
It's like turning gran turismo into a power up kart racer. People are going to keep complaining until the turn it back into what gran turismo is.
In case of FF they have not giving fans what they wanted since FF11 being an mmo. So people are still complaining about that, obviously.
No one ever complained about kingdom hearts, xenogears, or Saga Frontier being different, because they carry different names. It's meant to be different, and people respect that.
So while i'm still waiting for them to acknowledge people like me, they keep doing more and more extreme stuff. Stuff that is interesting and impressive, but doesn't have the same flavor.
I've been playing FF since I was a kid, in the 90's. I'm now 34 and personally I'm really enjoying this one. It's something new and refreshing. I've played them all except the MMO ones, because that just isn't my jazz.
People are acting like FF have never tried anything new. They have since 11, going MMO, and then 12 when getting rid of the random, turn-based battles. Not sure why these people are pulling a surprised Pikachu face all of a sudden with 16. FF have been trying new things for the last 20 years
Perhaps they should go try a different random battle, turn-based RPG, like Dragon Quest or something if they miss it that much. There are plenty about.
lol you are clearly not a Final Fantasy fan.
