Joshua Cutscene

AMD users are struggling with that Joshua-Ultima cut scene as it crashes down causing a re-run of the entire Typhon battle. There is no option to save after the opening of the gate so its a 15-min run before being able to skip the cutscenes. I hope Square Enix notices this and give an immediate fix

im AMD RX 7800 XT , no crashes at all yet , and im way way past that bit

I see, maybe its got something to do with the CPU or even maybe its just a thing for lower range amd rigs. Hoping SE provides further fixes knowing other than the one i mentioned, the game looks nicely ported

Seems to be some older AMD cards; 6900XT same issue, right when Joshua is about to puff phoenix feathers from his burning hand it freezes for a moment and CTD. Noticed a reddit thread trying to narrow it down, seems to be mostly effecting 6000 series AMD GPUs. Only fix they found so far was to skip the cutscene and watch it on Youtube, which admittedly worked for me.

OMG I FOUND MY PEOPLE!!!! I literally just found this problem! Wrote a SCATHING review, wich sucks because i do like the game! But the second J-rock fires up his hand BAM, game crashes. Did it twice in a row, same exact spot. WTF!!!! 6900xt ryzen5900. ALL the ram.

omg i thought about that but at the same time.... 100 bucks to skip sheet and then watch on youtube? NOT ON MY WATCH... unless they dont fix it then... maybe on my watch.

I had it happened to me like 3 times on a RX 6800 XT, i fixed it by installing the optional update that's on the pinned thread here,
