When it was on medium, it was dropping into the 10's and lower.
I disabled dynamic resolution and every fancy feature it had, then moved the graphic settings back up to medium and it was running fine. There's something specific in the settings that's causing the fps drop, just didn't go through them enough yet to figure it out.
Had one specific crash at one specific cutscene that would crash in the same place every single time. Downloaded the beta drivers and it worked just fine. Game performance has been flawless otherwise. Perhaps your CPU and RAM aren't up to par with your GPU?
Could be. I haven't tested it on my 6800xt yet.
This was only the demo, also.
Been running fine, 6900xt, well, frames suffer at true 4k, but fsr 3 and everything else maxed, it’s been fine. No ghosting even, little shocked tbh.
No, clearing my drivers and reinstalling to the newest didn't fix it.
No, running my GPU at default settings didn't fix it. Neither did running at OC or UV. I also tried playing without my CPU undervolt.
No, turning off FSR didn't fix it. Or any other graphics setting. Or any Adrenalin settings. I've ran about every conceivable configuration of these things.
No, running in fullscreen/borderless didn't change anything.
No, EventViewer does not report any errors before the crash.
No, running it in admin mode didn't do anything. Neither did disabling fullscreen optimisation.
No, turning off all overlays didn't fix it.
No, my hardware isn't broken. I checked. And I'm not getting any transients in my PSU.
Game runs absolutely fine for me otherwise. When it's working I can just slap all the settings up to high, enable FSR Quality and call it a day. I've had sometimes up to 5 hours of uninterrupted game time, but sometimes only 20 secs. The only possible factor I've identified is it seems to crash more when I'm in the more lush, visually dense and cluttered parts of the game.
Are you gonna explain why that is causing crashes, or where to find it? Looking in my cache folder and there's no such thing. Google is just telling me about problems with Far Cry 6.
Never crash rn, but i think i got lower fps with the full game.
My setting with 1440p mostly on high setting (only shadow is on med), fsr3 balance, no frame gen, no dynamic reso
