Have you installed the current beta driver?

Intermittent driver timeout or application crash during certain cutscenes while playing FINAL FANTASY XVI on some AMD Graphics Products, such as the Radeon™ RX 6600 XT.

I am using 24.8.1 and the only 2 kinds of crashes I got were:

Drake's Head location during a moment in a cutscene... that is all I am going to say to not spoil anything and whenever I press prtscn on my keyboard a little window pops out with "operation completed succesfully" or something like that, I click OK and the game closes.

I have the beta driver, but it still crashes. Got through the cut scene one time, but the characters had no bodies (only a neck and head). I guess I'll wait for more updates.

If you're using the preview driver, make sure to use DDU to do a clean uninstall before installing the preview driver

using whatever the latest is on my 7800XT. It's been pretty flawless so far, a couple of dropped frames here and there but no crash

Do any of you have Intel 13th or 14th generation CPUs? They can degrade without a BIOS update and can cause crashing.

I am using preview driver just like above ^ and I still got CTD "the GPU not response to more command" type of error ( so far only 1 , right after fafnir boss battle in the jungle )

i have intel i9 12900k, the crashing is because amd driver, i don't even have a message error when its crashing, just black screen and then the game is freezing with a blank windows popping up and i can only "acept" and it closes everything

6950XT here. I tried to run the game three times and it crashed three times at the first cut scene. I installed the beta driver, got through the cut scene, but all characters had no bodies, just floating heads. Restarted the game, drive crash AGAIN, but this time with my screen filled with coloured blocks. This is the worst optimized game I've ever played.

After trying every fix thinkable the only one that actually fixed my driver timeouts ended up being a Motherboard BIOS update
