why dlc is not avialiable in family sharing?

Because
A). dlc are as a separate files
B) have denuvo
C) Developer can choose what they want or do not want to be shared in steam family sharing.

The DLC page on Steam says that it supports Family Sharing but in reality there is nothing when installing and playing. This looks like a scam.

The DLC should obviously also be avaiable. Report it and enjoy the base game until it is fixed.

glad to finally see im not the only one having this issue. I tried with steam support but they just pointed me to the faq. i could try reporting it to sqex but they dont seem to care enough about fixing PC & family issues. it took them (or valve, cus idk whos fault it is) months to fix the free HD texture DLC for ff15 on steam after the family sharing went into beta.

You almost gave me a heart attack and Tales of Arise flashbacks (what by the way was never fixed)



I am using family sharing and the dlc appears on the dlc list for me. It also says I have it on game.

So its fine for me at least I think so. Its not like I am far enough into the game to actually play them but it says I have them.

yeah i think u are fine.
my dlc list is empty (only pre-order bonus) it's very sad if they don't fix it :c

Square Enix is who we need to go to for a explanation. If you go directly to the DLC store pages, they list Family Sharing. If you to the complete edition. It says Family Sharing.

I wouldn't trust Steam support

That message from Steam is just a bot. Steam only ever responds with a human response the 2nd time the first one is always a bot/pre-made message and even when a human talks to you they always make up some lie or something unrelated to your point.

I agree, it is clearly marked. I have responded back with screenshots from the store page. We'll see. This is clearly deceptive if its showing on the steam store and its actually not working.

this is terrible. the complete edition is family share enabled, but they screwed up the sharing on the expansion pass.

i sent square enix a support request on their site with screenshot proof asking them to escalate it to the right people, otherwise im going to get a refund for it since it is false advertising.

How did you reach out to Square? Please send links so we do the same.

It looks like if you bought the complete edition initially. Family sharing works. But if you buy the DLC separately. It does not work with Family sharing.
