Shader compiling is cpu, and his isn't quite the newest. 30 min seems a bit much though still.
i used 9700k, its a fast cpu even it lacks modern amount of threads. i d expect 15mins, okay but 30 seemed a bit excessive to me. wonder why really. might be memory bandwidth? its half of nowadays 12th 13th 14th gen cpus.
ah okay, 20 is more like it. :D
anyway i might give it a go later. see it makes any difference.
So yeah, delete and clean recompile after you update drivers = generally no issues.
anyway, while fps didnt increase or decrease, indeed the stuttering on some cases gone. i was having stutters in hall of virtue or when opening glossary. they gone now. it also helped
response of some combos, like 1 melee attack + fire, often it wasnt registering for me.
so ye, thanks, helpful. you earned a big award.
I deleted both the FINAL FANTASY XVI and FINAL FANTASY XVI DEMO folders from SquareEnix\.
Shaders compilation took only 10 sec instead of 5 min like the first time and I did not get an infinite loading screen.
I no longer get the constant stuttering I had before just running around and in the cutscenes.
Thanks!
I have a Geforce RTX 2070 Super i7-10750H 32gb ram 1,9 tb ssd, directX 12, 16 gb vram
I should be above the reccomended settings, right?
Can someone help?
I've also had better luck with Borderless than Fullscreen (FS was giving me stuttering).
