Final Fantasy 16 is crashing
The game crashes a few minutes after I start the game. An error message appears and nothing works anymore.
I urgently need support, I have already set all graphic settings to the minimum.

Do you not think that while asking for help, stating your specs and what that error message says would be not just a little important, but vital to anyone helping you?

With what you've posted literally no one can do anything for you, even if they wanted to.

Do you perhaps have an Intel 13th or 14th generation CPU?

Post your PC specs.

My pc specs.:

I can't read the error message because it is displayed in Japanese.

the best error which peoples get is still the
"the operation was completed successfully"
i mean i never got that error but a friend of mine does and its a funny thing because, why would a game crash after doing a task successfull.
i mean it could be that it is just wrong translated from japanese into english and it should show something else ^^''

in anycase:
there are a few pinned posts where SE devs said that you all should really update your GPU driver´s.
aaaand if that doesnt helps theeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen ... either blame your PC or the Dev´s.
the game seems to have some problems on high end PC´s ... like a lot of games do lately.

this console port seems to follow (like all console ports do) the rule "the closer your PC rig is to the console from which it comes, the better it runs"
cause i have no problems with the game and my PC rig is way weaker then what peoples posted here so far aka i have an AMD ryzen 5 2600x with an nvidia rtx 2060 super and 32gb of ram, i had so far no issues o-o in the 6 hours i´ve played so far.

i wonder why the 30xx and 40xx series on gpus have so many issues with games lately, its not only FF16 tho u..u.

Hi guys,
I have completely upgraded my PC.
Now the game works without any problems

Then:

Prozessor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
RAM 32,0 GB
System: Win 10 64-Bit
Grafic: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti

Now:

System: Windows 11 Home
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12-Core Processor
32,0 GB RAM
Grafic: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER

My guess is that the processor, operating system and older graphics cards are not entirely compatible with the game.
But I don't know for sure.

i was wondering if i needed to upgrade mine as well... but theres no way i can afford those lol. maybe i can get something pretty good tho...

it would help if i knew anything about how to do that or what would be considered pretty good without breaking my bank

If you list your current specs, we can tell you what components will give you the best bang for your buck.
