I just really miss the days of games like Jedi Academy where each force power had its own keybind. Like...I don't want to just NOT be able to use 90% of all this cool ♥♥♥♥ in the game. Because FF16 is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cool and fun game. But this really detracts from it in my opinion.
Thanks! I did not realize this.
Perhaps, but this like most games was designed for console first and foremost :/
Pretty much everything running on x86 is pretty great for so many games being multiplatform but not so great for having those games designed specifically for the advantages of PC. I personally really miss classic base building rts games. The only semi-modern ones I know of, are SpellForce III Reforced (Amazing game by the way) and Iron Havest ( also a good game but its base building is pretty lackluster, and it has performance issues - still worth it though)
you press and hold R2 for a set of 4 new options (like games did back on PSX)
somehow they thought having dodge and jump (wtf. is this jump even?) are so important that you need to lock em in
If they would give access to more abilities it would make normal attacks pointless and also made the game even easier. At the end of the game all skill would be recharging faster than players could use them. There would also be no builds and no decision making what skills to equip.
even for controler it wouldnt have been hard to add up to 8 ability's just linking to L+A, B, X, Y or R+A, B, X, Y.... this aint rocket science by no means. i mean hell you even have to hit R+X, Y to use an ability but they didnt add B or A... stupid.
