Is final fantasy mode worth it?
Its bit harder, yet the first couple of bosses seemed like childsplay compared to kairos gate. Is there noticable better gear or better utility rings, like higher zantsetsuken gain instead of +25%, in late game final fantasy mode?

You get a higher level cap (from 60 to 110) and gear can be upgraded further, and there are some FF Mode exclusive weapons. Some regular enemies get replaced with tougher enemies, and all enemies get level boosted.

Is it worth it? Worth is subjective so only you can really answer if replaying the game is worth it or not.

For me, probably not right away, but a year or two from now when I get the desire to replay it then doing so with FF mode will give a slightly different experience and be a reason to come back. For you, maybe not.

do you know perhaps, if utility accessories can be upgraded? Like the "reflection of" and "bit" accessories? I've also seen that someone did cancel lighting rod into dancing steel, yet it doesn't look like it's possible in ng. Is there a trick/gear to make it possible in Final Fantasy Mode?

There is no level cap in the game except for max level which is 110

That isn't true. Every thing I can find online about it states there is in fact a level cap, including all of the walkthroughs on gamefaqs/neoseeker/etc, and google.

Originally it was 50 for base mode and 100 for FF mode. After the first DLC released this was boosted to 55 and 105 respectfully and then 60 and 110 after the second DLC released.

Maybe you simply think that because you never looked it up and never managed to hit the cap.

Then why was I over level 50 when I completed my first playthrough? There is no cap. It's a lie. The game just makes it insanely hard to level after 50. So basically a soft cap. The game doesn't outright give you 0XP when you hit 50 on mobs

If you read, it's because its 60 now and you're talking about 50. You cannot level past 60 outside of FF mode.

It would have been nice to test that but OK you win

Im just doing the clean ups on my first playthrough, after both DLCs I am at lvl 52 and approaching 53. Quests are giving the most XP outside of grinding in the Rising Tide area. I agree with your stance that it appears to be soft capped at 50 in that, mobs haven't scaled higher than lvl 53 and mobs aren't worth the effort to grind.

can confirm that 110 is level cap, i can provide screen shots if you want. it will show both in your save file screen and status screen as a gold number.

I mean, ppl played it on the ps5 version already...there is a level cap... it was 50 at launch, then it got updated throughout the DLC updates...besides...you really don't need to grind level, AP skills points are more important.

You can see where it says I've hit the maximum level at 60...

As I've already confirmed, 60 is max in NG, 110 is max in NG+ / FF Mode.

Just a typo, 120 was supposed to be 110.
