Game crashes randomly
I've been experiencing more and more random crashes as I progressed the story. It usualy throws "an unexpected error has occured" followed by insta crash or just crashes without a warning.
5800x3d + 4070ti +32GB ram
I love the game but it frustrates me that it crashes without a reason every now and then. Anyone else experiencing this and potentially found a fix?

Not a single crash for me in more than 100 hours. Probably some problems with your build, maybe a faulty overclock for CPU or GPU.

What does event viewer say? The reason of the crash is there.

At first I was having crashes but only when the game was running in the background for too long. I think the patch fixed that, or something else did. Never once have I had a crash while actually playing. That being said, you definitely aren't the first person to report crashes here. Make sure to report it to square, otherwise, they don't know....

EDIT: What does event viewer say? That might give you a clue.

At a cursory glance, try closing other apps while you play ff16? Even with my 14700k and 4090 I find the game is smoother with firefox closed. I don't imagine you need to increase virtual memory. Unless of course you turned it off or reduced it from default or something. I mean I suppose you could try if closing other apps doesn't work.

Also, make sure to do a file integrity check of both the game (through steam) and windows, by the following commands in an elevated command prompt:

sfc /scannow

and

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

This seems to be caused by ur nvidia graphics driver , U may wanna try and use DDU to clean reinstall it.

do you have a pagefile set to be a specific amount? i don't remember if there's an option on AMD cards but on NVidia you can select what specifically processes PhysX and other things, I would ensure all of that is set for your card. i would also not have chrome or edge running while you play an intense game as they are chewing memory that could be used.
