Nope, I've no idea how far a yard is. It may as well be in Greek. I was never taught it in school and I've never seen any point in learning such a bizarre and antiquated system.
The UK is almost entirely metric, and has been for decades. The last remaining vestiges are road signs (annoyingly), and when describing someone's height. The former I just don't understand and never have, and the latter I just use metres for.
I switched the game to Japanese and it worked. Maybe it's a change for the better, I could use the listening practice.
