DELETE THE DEMO SAVE FILE....

Hello I wanted to delete the demo save files and the save file on cloud, can anyone help me?? when the game comes out i want to start fresh... Thanks

you cant entirely delete cloud save, thats the purpose it. failsafe if your local save corrupted. and it syncs each time you launch and exit a game.

do it like this
to delete:

Documents\my games\FINAL FANTASY XVI DEMO\Steam , delete that folder inside. that numbered folder.
then turn off cloud saves for game. library, right click game, properties, general tab.

to upload (overwriting existing cloud file) new save to cloud :
then after all that, launch game and start over again. play a bit, take a save, exit game. then re-enable cloud saves for new saves (if you want to be safe) ,launch game, overwrite the save, exit and let it sync in steam. done. your new save file uploaded.

i have updated the post. the method to overwrite cloud saves in steam with new ones.

When the game launches, you can start all over again (that's what I'll do too). Transferring the demo data is optional.

Once the actual game releases it should allow you to delete save files in the game or even start a new game.

Magical option called "New Game" should be available.

this isn't dragons dogma 2, you can just make a new game when ever you want
