Game freeze or crash with pre-render cutscenes

EN : When I play the game everything is fine but big freezes or even crashes of the game or the PC occur during pre-rendered cinematics, this is a serious optimization defect that must be fixed as soon as possible, I have already sent a ticket to Square Enix but I am also sending this steam post to confirm the problem.

Yeah I have not experienced this, but I do hear it a lot. But come on people please, post your specs to help us help you. It is frustrating when you have to basically take shots in the dark as to the problem.

Anyway without any other information, you could try

A) driver reinstall ( if nvidia, I suggest version 561.09, just because thats what I use and because I heard some people had some issues with following versions and this game, not crashes, but still)

B) Deleting shaders (delete the .psol file in this directory: C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\SquareEnix\FINAL FANTASY XVI)

C) Integrity check through steam

D) Check windows for errors with these scripts in an elevated (run as admin) command prompt:

sfc /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

E) Try turning rebar off, if its on.

F) Close all apps that are not ff16, I mean everything, browsers, discord, everything!

And then yeah, get back to us with your specs. Most important is your GPU and how much vram it has. But the more detailed the better/

I think there is no point in sending my PC configuration, I said the problem was that the game could not play SIMPLE VIDEOS, real time cutscenes work perfectly but pre-cutscenes renderings, therefore simple videos, cannot be played by the game. Conclusion: This is a problem with the game, because not being able to play simple videos is crazy at this level... So I hope this will be reported to the development teams...
And for information I can only say that I have a RTX 2070 super, which is sufficient and I put the game on HDD, which is also sufficient because it only delays the loading times, so nothing to see either.
I sent a request for help to Square Enix, they told me that it comes from the performance of the PC, so ACCORDING TO THEM it would take high performance of the PC to play SIMPLE VIDEOS...

We're clearly in for some serious nonsense...

I know its BS but the CS is right, i did a little test and guest what, during some intense pre-rendered cutscene The Vram spikes, i too got the same problem on a certain cutscene it crashes so yeah, it requires a good chunk of pref just to playback a video..

That's it, you need a crazy configuration to play a video with this game, the devs have really poorly optimized the game in fact...

Okay don't want a solution, just want to vent, got it. I wish people would let us know in advance when thats the case.

We also don't know for sure its pre-rendered cutscene, as there's only 1 or 2 of those in the game, the rest are rendered and do use a lot of resources, so it could be a simple misunderstanding as to if its rendered or not.
Well, it doesn't matter, I'll maybe test again another day but I'll leave it like that for now, I won't bother with that, thank you for your answers in any case.
