Parrying with the sword also became my preference, but I will say the timing on that is much tighter than using Titanic block. Parrying with either a charged burning blade or a jumping attack is much closer to the timing of a precision block because the active frames of those attacks is much longer than any of Clive's normal combo hits. Limit Break also greatly increases the active frames of Clive's attacks, making parrying much easier.
At the end of the game, with all the EIkonic abilities unlocked, there's other options I prefer. This becomes even more of a case when you add the Rising Tides DLC's two Eikonic ability sets.
