The issue is the lack of proper challenge in the main game.
The Kairos gate can be insanely hard without the cheat rings though.
Final fantasy doesn't have a defined gameplay. What makes a FF a FF is the bestiary pretty much. You're just projecting your own preferences into the license. You don't like action games, I would guess, which is fine.
Lots of fights are very similar, elites and bosses have too much health, getting attacked from out of sight mobs in group fights, very linear tunnel levels with some branches that lead to an item that is of course guarded by yet again a very similar fight, no major changes introduced down the line, I could go on.
It really has nothing to offer compared to FF7 remake, or at least nothing I can see. Just my personal opinion of course.
If you think elites and bosses have too much health , you are probably playing pretty inefficiently. Apart from a few major bosses anything in this game can be melted pretty fast past a certain point in the game.
For the out of sight enemy, I don't know if you've noticed but you have a radar of sort like God of war actually.
hahahahahaha
Well one of the issues with this game is that it way way too easy and a moron can get away with just mashing buttons thinking that he understand the mechanics when in reality they are beyond his understanding.
I'm sure it's not the case with you though. Can't wait for your video with millions of stagger damage
The most big companies think that each audience has low IQ (but the problem is the easier games become the more lazy everyone becomes, don't use any efforts and beat everything blindfolded) which is especially for young players bad,
imagine some 20 year old people who act like 80 year old ones after playing such easy games for a couple of years. (this isn't just game related, it can affect them also IRL)
It reminds me a bit of the auto-afk mmo, they're braindead but many still play them
God ask why they enjoy this but nobody can look into their head
That's your complex mechanics? millions of stagger damage?
Combo based combat sucks, FF16's combat sucks. Thankfully it has good story so I actually managed to enjoy the game apart from the mind blowingly awful combat.
If we are gonna get rid of all the support characters and go full into action RPG territory...
To make a game that looks remarkably like DMC...
Why in god's name did they not take the job system and allow you to level up different jobs to unlock different spells and attacks with different weapons that you could switch between on the fly in the middle of combat to make cool combos?
The system was staring them in the face and they didn't even try.
Because they didn't go full into action RPG like you said... are you people saying this because it has Final Fantasy in the name?
Uh, no they definitely did. The game is very clearly an action RPG you don't even have a party.
Also I mean in the store page the first tag the game has is "action rpg"
