His and the hundreds of others that have issues? The EXACT same issue? All of them? In the exact same way?
Have you read the thread and tried the solutions explored that have helped other people?
After scouring forums I got the impression this issue doesn't really have a solution other than "maybe with this fix it only crashes after 3 - 4 hours.", In my case it crashed in less than 1 hour, after booting the game the second time. I figured I'd ask for a refund and try all that stuff if it is denied, or wait for a better patch solution if it is approved, luckily the refund was approved despite having gone above the 2 hour limit.
They usually are generous on refunds with games that have known issues, done several refunds after the time limit myself. Just have to state a good case for it.
Thats a shame. I can think of at least two people in this very thread that were able to completely get rid of the issue. I myself got the error once when testing out an undervolt, that leads me to believe its a very catch-all type error that could be caused by anything. But a common one in setting a framecap and reverting to driver version 561.09. Anyway, guess its too late now. Well, hopefully somebody else catches this.
I really hope this will be fixed at some point or someone that might find out about what causes this, most of the times its after a long ass cutscene.
