seriously, like probably 80% of players use that patch. What are you scared of? Is it a skill problem?

I already have to many games with modifications, ini modifications, later I forgot what games are , for example if I uninstall or move a game to another dirve it will break on verification of files, cant understant that the devs cant do a thing that is supposed to be standard, we are paying for the game, we are not pirating the game to search for patches

Yeah it should have had ultrawide support, but its easily fixable, and was pretty much since day 1. And sorry, what does pirating have to do with... anything?

Back in the days there was a online page of SKIDROW he post almonst any game on the market, then you have to search later for patches, for example 2.0 3.0 and was the cost of having a pirated game LOL but was like 20 years ago and it remember those days, now I dont have to many time to waste like I was young

I am familiar with skidrow but still don't understand how applying a simple patch that can be done in a couple minutes is at all related to piracy.

Are you saying its because.... applying patches reminds you... of what its like to pirate? Or something?

the problem with the ultrawide fan patch is a lot of cutscenes and full screen effects are borked.
some of the prerendered cutscenes still have black bars, and characters walking off screen linger at the edge of the 1080p resolution border so can pull you out of the moment. not a problem with the patch, just how the game is without native support.
works fine otherwise, but native support would have been nice for a game from 2023/2024

This is what I mean for native support, I play The witcher 2 on ultrawide with flawless Widesreen program, works great it just the same, some screen effects are like cropped, for example wen Gerald do meditation the sreeen en the borders looks without the effect. so I think that we deserve a proper and Native 21:9, just cant believe that the devs dont even bother on implementing that feature.

Perhaps thats why its not an official feature ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

.....This is common with many ultra-wide mods. No one cares. As long as the HUD/UI works properly and the gameplay is the right resolution/fov that's literally all that matters....

Also the patch works great, as do many of the unofficial ultra-wide patches. Get used to it if you wanna use your monitor to it's full potential.
