tried every settings available in game, fps wont exceed 25 even at 720p
Just tested out the first 10 min since the new Demo patch dropped this morning - 95% improvement for me. At most had like 3 moments of dropped frames in the biggest movie moments, otherwise had no stutters or sound desync during cutscenes, and noticed no issues (so far) in actual combat. Didn't even hit a stutter when Shiva/Titan fought in the background while running around.
Official 24.8.1 AMD Drivers & FF16 Demo v1.01
+Updated Buttery Smooth Settings with more Visual Fidelity!
AMD Users: The Official 24.8.1 drivers fixed my FF16 issues. I had to factory reset to not crash though & not change any AMD Software Gamming tab settings. I also used AMD Cleanup Utility before driver install.
Much smoother FPS now! No crashes or long stutters even at Upscaling = Native AA & Dynamic Rez = OFF.
My Rig is an AM4 Ryzen 7 5800 (Non-X ...Basically 5700X) on a RX7800XT, 16 GB DDR4@3600Mhz & B550 Mobo. On Windows 10 Pro 22H2
...If anyone was curious.
Only changed from default settings:
At Max settings: 4K (Borderless) I'm getting fairly steady ~30FPS with Dynamic Rez = OFF, Upscaling = Native AA. If FSR3 Frame Gen = ON.~40-60FPS
Smooth Settings: 4K (Borderless) with Dynamic Rez = OFF, Upscaling = Quality,
FSR3 Frame Gen ON & Frame Rate = 30.00 FPS ~60FPS with very occasional drops.
>>>Buttery Smooth 60 FPS Settings + Lossless Scaling<<<
FF16 Settings: 4K (Borderless) with Dynamic Rez = OFF, Upscaling = Quality, Sharpness = 1, Frame Rate set to 30.00 FPS, Motion Blur = 1, (VRS) = ON
Lossless Scaling settings: Scaling Type = OFF, Frame Generation = LSFG 2.3 @ X2 & Performance = ON >>>SOLID 60 FPS<<<
Also Lossless Scaling makes cut-scenes 60FPS. It's well worth the buy & a Steam app.
24.7.1 AMD 6800xt @ 3440x1440 without fsr everything on max settings with stable 60 fps ingame.
is that already released or not? I checked it still 24.7.1 for the newest AMD driver ( I am using 24.6.1 and it works just fine )
-------------------
nvm it already released, AMD numbering the driver is so confusing, lol.
VRAM/bandwidth limited.
Try lower resolutions.
