Is this game more demanding than Cyberpunk?
Im playing on laptop with i5, rtx 3050.

While playing Cyberpunk, with low settings (im sure i could play with mid settings iirc) , it is smooth.

But while playing ff16 with low settings, it seems didnt do anything.
1. I already update the driver (before and after , the results are same, low fps like im playing with 20fps).

2. I tried to change the settings , then exit, restart and playing from the load data, it doesn't change anything.

I think this is the first time i cant play a game even with low settings with my laptop.

Do you think this is because the port or the requirements for FF16 is so high?

With a 3060 I was getting 80+ fps stable with mostly max settings and a few medium settings with DLSS at 1440p.

I wouldn't call it more demanding, it's just poorly optimized.

With a rtx 3050 I suggest 1080p + fsr quality + frame gen.

Bad optimised games have settings which nearly have no impact in performance. As far as I can tell only upscaling and frame gen make it playable.

I have similar specs and having similar performance, LMK if you find settings that worked.

Lack of VRAM. This game needs 6GB minimum.

I think Cyberpunk 2077 is more demanding than this.
I have a gaming laptop in the same level as your laptop and I have to admit... it's sh*t defined with sh*t on sh*t in sh*t of dogsh*t. Even the Steam Deck can't keep up. For some forsaken reason, I need my RTX 3070 to experience this game at the same level as my PS5 would give me at 4K. A PC worth $1000+ in comparison vs a $500 console. Truly let that sink in. How does Square Enix expect us to buy this? Even a long time fan as me.

Your PS5 will never give you 4K lol. More like a blurred 1200p judging by tests
only difference i found on demo of ff 16 vs cyberfailpunk is that ff 16 require you to own SSD hard drive, where cyberpunk dosnt need it

Nope. 2077 with PT is arguably the most demanding game besides Alan Wake 2 (with PT).

You have a crap system... it isn't poorly optimized. I will keep spamming this video.

This is also before the latest nVidia driver update that makes it run even better.

Yeah its just poorly optimized idk wtf? I even reset my entire PC like 3 days before release and it fixed other games and got more FPS but yeah i cant play at 1080P wont go about 30 fps and just so peope ask about my specs its

Ryzen 5 5600H (Could be the cause of it)
GTX 3050Ti
32 GB Ram

The only way i can get this over 60 FPS is with it set 720P Running Lossless Scaling ( Which is an app on steam for $7 and it works but its blurry on some part at like .5 latency but can still kick ass on fights. So yeah its like i said its either my CPU or its just the demo they didnt give a ♥♥♥♥ about so the full release we might see some fixes.

It's demanding because of bad optimization. Has nothing to do with the visuals. Game looks like a blurry mess. Textures are flat, tessellation is awful.

Compare this game visually to Black Myth Wukong, Horizon series, Spider-Man series, God of War series, Last of Us 2, Demon Souls, Hellblade 2, RDR2, Alan Wake 2, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, Death Stranding, Kena, Half-Life Alyx, Ghost of Tsushima, CP2077, Witcher 3 remastered graphics, Bright Memory, Stellar Blade, AC: modern trilogy, Plague Tale Requiem, Forza Horizon 5, FF7 Remake... They all look better, sharper, and run better. Every single one of them. I'm sure I could name more if I got my memory jogged.

If this game doesn't serve on a visual front, and it's combat is mid, all that's left is a movie that you could watch on YouTube. Save yourself $50 and watch all the cinematics on YouTube.
