Hello, friends! If you follow Matt on Twitter, you might have notice the brief part where I said I'm very sorry for doing the Pearl ranks this time around. Still holds true.
For those who don't know about Pearls: the Red Pearl is a secret rank past the Diamond, a hidden time you have to beat - and that time is the developer record. (Rounded up a bit to be a little more fair.)

Of course, I want to know how you guys do and how close you are... please share many screenshots and especially videos!

Since I set the Pearl times this time, I won't be uploading the videos like I did last time - I won't do that unless someone hits the Pearl time, at which point I'll reveal my route and maybe some bonus stuff. So get on it and get those secret ranks! I can't wait to see how you do these! :D

I'm under 2sec in DreadWood 1 (1,961) and i haven't the pearl yet, I expected so much to get it when i saw 1,9s xD I keep running to catch them all ;)

Dreadwood are probably the hardest to beat times. I'm very proud of what I achieved there. :D
On the other hand, you might want to try going for Darkfang Pearls. Especially Darkfang II, it's a lot more about routing and timing than technique... for reference, my run of Darkfang II didn't use a single dodge cancel!

Meanwhile, over 2000 attempts on Cataclysm I and 1.716 is my best. So close it's driving me crazy .

No video unfortunately. What do you use to record? Will try to record from now on.

My strat is a little different to yours. I hyper jumped into the swamp puddle, shoot lower right, upper right, then left dummy after landing (memory is a bit fuzzy so I might have it slighty wrong). The timing shooting between the blocks is very tight and takes a bit of luck. Also spacing the hyper jump can be tricky; you want to land somewhere in the middle.

And I finally got Cataclysm I after 3000+ tries. You sure made the timing strict :P

Nice stuff. I've been trying the same strategy on Darkfang I but can't get it fast enough. Best is 2.099.
