Multiple Controllers on Mac (DS4 and wired XBox One)
I've been trying to get my wired Xbox One controller working on with Towerfall. I have a DS4 controller that works perfectly. When I try to get my Xbox One controller to connect it either pushes out to controller two players at once or it's incredibly laggy and seems to randomly register button input.

I've installed Xbox 360 Controllers to help get my computer to handle the controller inputs.

DS4 is DualShock 4, for PS4.

I've had that bug on mac too, where my controller connected to 2 players at the same time. Also the A button wasn't the usual "jump" but paused the game.

I just fiddled with the controler and it's usb port, reconnecting again, relancing steam and it eventually turned good.

So, not really a solution, just a "rage with the usb and logiciel" idea… ^^'

I've kinda/sorta figure it out. It's not a foolproof solution, but "luck of the draw" kind of situation. Nelehela, I've had the DS4 working with my steam games for a while now. I'd try going into Big Picture mode and setting up your controller that way. It might work that way. Otherwise, I'm not sure.

My dual controller solution was like you said, Kwack. Sort of start and restart the game, plugging and unplugging in controllers until something "clicks" and both are recognized as one player each instead of two controllers and three players. I'ts a fix, but it's annoying.
