Looking for save file from the beginning of Chapter 5

It seems I'm stuck because of game breaking bug and I don't think it's possible to restart the chapter. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out with a save file from the beginning of Ch 5.

Save file is from the scene where Conroy was pointing his "gun" at me and I was supposed to send Peck to hit the button on the Basylian. Problem was I didn't have Peck in my inventory.

Before Conroy's arrival I was sure I will have to hang something on the decoration in the Wind Chapel so I sent Peck to test where the de-petryfing beam will hit. I think I did this twice and Peck disappeared after the second try.

How do I use a downloaded saved game. (I'm stuck after making a key shaped cookie and somehow don't have the puppet to use as a pot holder.) I downloaded a saved game that I'm hoping will be close to where I was but have not idea what to do with it since I couldn't find a saved game folder on my hard drive.
