[Red Wasp Design]

Hi all. We just wanted to update you to say that our run with Red Wasp and The Wasted Land has come to an end. If you’ve got the game, you’ll still have it. However going forward you’ll not be able to get it anymore. We’re all off doing other things now and so it does not make it feasible to keep running Red Wasp and keep it live. First off we’re hugely proud of all we achieved with the game and Red Wasp and secondly a huge thanks to all who’ve supported the game and us. We’ve won a few awards for the game and we’re super proud of them. Is this the end for us? Far from it, jut not as Red Wasp! If you want to follow what we’re up to from here on-wards… Tomas & Stu are both working on another strategy title with Lovecraftian influences, Dark Future: Blood Red States[www.darkfuture.info] over at Auroch Digital. Yeah I'm confused why you would stop selling the product? Does it have online components which no longer work or something?

I have it already but was puzzled about it too - why not to keep it up? I don't see any multiplayer there so you don't have to keep up servers and what not... And future sales (as well as cards trading) might still bring up some residual income.
As for rights of ownership and all that follows - since company got closed (as far as I understand) you guys can still figure out percentages of royalties or sell rights to some other company completely. It takes some time and effort, yes, but where's the will - there's the way...
Please, please bring it back!

Exactly.... so unless the Chaosium decides to license selling it and all that entails..... ^^

The thing is ... it's a buggy, unfinished mess and they folded the business that owns the IP. This is the epitome of abandonware, it's an embarrassment, and because they like working in the industry, they figured it's best to stop selling it instead of creating more and more negative feedback.

Probably because of legal issues. If they disbanded the company or closed it, there is no where for the money to go. You would have to keep splitting the revenue up between partners without a company to send it to. So my guess is because like they said, they Closed the company, it does not exist any longer therefore NO revenue.

If somehow one of you guys sees this you should make the steam profile backgrounds purchasable by people who do not own the game. I'd like to get the face of evil background but do not want to spend a grand on a game key. If not I'll live. Hope your doing good.
