Thoughts on the Sonic 3 movie?

Finally got to see the movie for myself and it was amazing! If you ask me, it was easily the best of the three and I enjoyed just about every moment of it.

For those that have also watched it, what were your thoughts?

Eh, in the context of the movie, I can see why they didn't decide to go down that route.
Besides, that's yet another way of having the movie feel different enough from the source material to not feel like a direct copy-paste job.
