What did shadow mean he'd be back at the end of the dlc?

at the end of the dlc he leaves the movie universe, but mentioned he'd go back to visit the movie universe? could this be a easteregg for the crossworld racing game?

I just think this was hinting at the actual movie itself. He'll be back during the events of the movie, after he has completed his mission back in the video game universe.

I originally thought it'd be about the movie itself, but it can't be. Right? Actual Movie Shadow and Game Shadow have gotta be different "people". 'Cause in the DLC, he's not actual Movie Shadow, but Game Shadow taking on the "form" of Movie Shadow. But it's still Game Shadow's brain and thoughts. Say that 5 times fast...

I think it'd just refer to a possible future new stage, or perhaps the new game.
