Does anyone use Hedgehog Mod Manager? I'm having an issue with crashes...

Long story short: I selected the code in the manager to always use Movie Shadow, and whenever I enter into the next act-challenge (or try to) for a boss key, the game closes itself while loading. The culprit seems to, more or less, be the game's current update version. Is there a way to downgrade if that is the issue? Or could it be that the code/mods just aren't updated yet?
