Disabling offending HMM codes + any mods that edit playercommon.pac (physics mods) should do the trick
Edit: the drop dash codes were updated to fix the crashing

I opened the game after installing the update, and I was greeted with a black screen and my cpu going crazy...Fortunately it seems to be okay after closing and reopening it, but that was kinda sketchy. Some patch notes would be nice.
