The sonic generations exe got a little bit bigger but the shadow generations exe got a bit smaller
Edit: Could be they just updated the denuvo for whatever reason.

Seems like the Generations exe got bigger, Shadow exe got smaller, and what looks like a bugfix for a level, or re-arrangement of objects within it, but no real additions/removals to content within the pac files.
Since it's a gedit file, it should be pretty minor. Just some re-arrangement of stage elements.
I guess it really was just an update for the Denuvo.
You can use Steam Input to map the dpad to the joystick, and there's no way to tell for sure if Denuvo was what specifically was updated.
Cause theres a chance the map completion doesnt get counted correctly, so youre locked out of 100% until you start another run.
It was for the fact they made the sonic jam legacy skin from paid to free! When i claimed it on the steam store i only had to download 120kb when the page says 400MB. So the update probably just downloaded the model for all
