What do you think of the Metal Overlord S Rank?

I think that Metal Overlord and his Hard Mode Variant are by far the two most difficult S-Ranks in the game by a long shot. I felt like I had to play near perfectly in order to get them but it was very satisfying when I finally did and it never felt frustrating because the controls always felt responsive.

Did you guys also appreciate this challenge or do you think it was too much? Or is there something about the fight that I was totally missing? I did have a similar experience with Mephiles because I didn't realise that he was the only non-Black Arms enemy in the game that could be thrown, so I ended up fighting him for 30 minutes before getting his S-Rank.

I think the regular S rank is a fair challenge. It rewards you for going for as many debris shots as possible and the Chaos Control -> homing attack on the massive ship's rubble.

The hard mode is actually also mostly fair but I do think the one lone ramp you need to hit immediately after using a surf spin is very poorly placed, took me a few tries to get the timing down.
