i made the request a week ago but just now verified my email with sega. It's been a day and haven't received an email yet. Are they not giving the skin for free anymore?

They are, a bulk of the skins are probably going to be sent out when the game actually releases (tomorrow).

I haven't gotten either of mine either, so it's not just you who hasn't got it yet dw

You have untill November 8th I believe so should arrive any point between now and then.

They shouldn't have bothered with the newsletter thing and just made the skin available for free on Steam out of the gate.

The full release is now at the time of writing, and plenty of people still haven't received the mail. And yet plenty of others have received a mail with the code, even before the full release.
