Im at like 80% done with the whole of Shadow generations, took me 7 hours so far... I'm definitely not employed XD

It's on par with the original game's length, it's just that the original Generations was already short. 3 and a half hours is about how long the main Shadow campaign takes, but going for S ranks on everything, plus the hub unlockable bonus stuff, can make it a bit longer.

It kinda depends on how you play, Sonic games are never that long in general tbh so if you just go and do everything in the story back to back then things probably will only take a few hours, but if you go about doing everything you can things can take much longer, im 8 hours in and ive only beaten the 1st boss because ive spent most of that time getting the S ranks and collecting the 3 collectibles in every level and getting stuff in the open area, so it really just depends on what you feel like doing

It really depends how you play it. If you rush through it, you can get through the story in 2 and a half hours. But all of the side quests, collecting everything and just getting good at the stages to the point where you memorise them, I would say that would take around 6-8 hours to get through. Then you add Sonic's story on top and you have a 15-20 hour game if you want to get the most out of it.
