Weirdness with Shadow Generations

I'm experiencing a bug in Space Colony Ark Act 2 where Shadow just stops at a certain point and nothing responds. Also, maybe it's just my PC, but while Sonic Generations runs perfectly fine for the most part, Shadow Generations runs like absolute crap even at low settings. Help would be appreciated.

I personally haven't had any problems like that. I played Shadows story for about an hour and a half so far, and classic Generations for about an hour. I don't want to simply say "it's your PC" as that's not exactly helpful.

The game is in early access and clearly has some bugs. The one I'm having trouble with is that the game crashes when trying to open the settings for Shadow's game mode. I would expect that a bug fix will probably come when they game officially launches. We are essentially play testers.

Hmm. Hopefully this'll get fixed soon I suppose (or Denuvo gets cracked if that has anything to do with the performance)

Update: Rendering scale. Just turn down the rendering scale. Still no idea on how to get past SCA Act 2 though

I have the same problem of Shadow getting stuck right before the hallway where he get’s his Doom Wings on Space Colony Ark Act 2. Is there a way to fix it yet? I have restarted the level multiple times, but I get stuck in the same place every time. For now I have quit the game and gonna relaunch again to see if it works, otherwise, the game is basically unplayable and softlocked until a patch is available.

Update; So I reloaded the game from Steam launch and made a new save and the bug got fixed in the second save slot.

I just encountered the same glitch. New game saved to slot 2 did not work. Can't move at all just pause and exit

Edit: It actually did work lol. I closed the game and was actually planning on refunding, but I decided to give it another shot (third time's the charm...) but this time only using my laptop screen at 1080p (I had it plugged to a tv and running at 2k, in case this makes a difference). So booted up the game, continued the second slot save, played the level and it worked. Really wierd though

this is all graphical issues guys, turn your resolution down and just lower the settings and everything will be good

i had this issue for a while, its because your device isnt performing well enough, if you're able to, turn the settings down to the lowest possible and it should work

I have the same issue bc I'm stuck at the Canyon Rail Act I and nothing works for me. I lowered the settings, tried the window mode, tried spamming the Pause button and nothing really works! Does anyone have any other fix to this? If not I'm considering refunding the game :(
