Boycotting this game over censorship

I was gonna give this a buy, but now after seeing the leaked rewritten script and the needless censorship they pulled with Rouge. I will be boycotting my first Sonic game in 21 years thanks to censorship courtesy of both Ian Flynn and Hit Detection (a Sweet Baby, Inc. like "consulting firm").

I know none of you will listen, but I will not stand for the bastardization of the original game in any form, minor or major, because it does a disjustice to the original game's legacy and robs people of the original experience (for better or for worse). A remake this is not, so this is in poor taste on everyone involved's part.

only time kotaku was relevant for me was when they did that poll for best video games one year then got upset when Monster girl quest almost got first place before they fudged numbers. then claimed trolls tried to vote for it.

MGQ had a very well crafted story despite it's name. so they really had no idea what they walked themselves into.

adult game (a rated game.) that has a story revolving around genocide, discrimination, co existance, and the foly of blindly following a theocracy the complications of wars rights and wrongs. i don't recommend it unless you know what your getting into. story is great, but content is not for everyone.

Oh yeah, lump this into some of the stupidest fandom arguments ever conceived. This goes beyond Sonic, it affects all major game releases (especially remakes and remasters of anything pre-2016). You can stick your head in the sand, but it doesn't make the issue go away... and throwing money at these types of releases sure as hell won't fix anything.

Even though I own it, SEGA made it ridiculous to acquire for new people (or people just getting into PC gaming), slapped Denuvo DRM onto the re-release, and then proceeded to scrub the original vibe of the game from the remaster. I'm sorry, but I will not bend on this.
