Question about the Advanced Access

Yo I bought the Digital Deluxe Edition specifically for the Early Access but it still says Oct 25th Instead of the 22nd is my thing just bugging? Normaly when i pre-order games and it has a early access it says what ever day that is but this is my first time pre ordering off of steam and its been like this since i bought it back in early september and its starting to get me worried since were getting closer and closer too that day. Any way pls let me know whats up with my thing thanks in advanced

It's right dw, the game will unlock on the 22nd-- it just says the 25th

its so weird that if you preorder a game with advance access there's no indication on your library of the earlier release and still just says the standard launch date

i though theyd've fixed that by now considering "advance access" has its own unique gold banner design on game pages where available

The real fix would just be to let everyone play the game on the actual release date which is the 22nd. I'm not usually super hard on this stuff, but advanced access is one of those things I feel like should be illegal. It's literally just charging extra to play the game on it's actual release date.

It's not charging extra, it comes with extra content (since it's digital deluxe) the bonus is just playing it early

Paying to play early is a nonsensically idea to tie to a deluxe edition because it encourages companies to not put anything in deluxe edition and just make it advance access payment edition.

I have the same concern. I have the invoice clearly proving I bought the digital deluxe edition but see no indication of it in my library at all.

Make sure the play icon isn't highlighted type in sonic and see if the name shows up in the list it should be grayed out unless your in big picture mode then I can't help you XD

Also you clearly got the game with the mouse icon.

Also you clearly got the game with the mouse icon.

To clarify: I see no indication that the version I have is the digital deluxe edition. I do have indication that I own the base game.
