drop dash stopped working for classic sonic?

I was trying to adjust the controls a bit in the options but when I didn't see a set up I liked I exited the options and classic sonic's drop dash stops working but modern sonic still does. I figured I accidentally did something with the controls but didn't see anything. I chose restore the defaults and that still didn't fix the issue.

Can someone help me?

Classic doesn't have the Drop Dash by default, it's a skill for him. Check what skills he has equipped.

It also won't work in the hub level since skills don't work there, iirc.

I've actually had it suddenly stop working for a while too, but only in the hub world.

For Classic Sonic, it will NEVER work in the hub world or the challenge acts because it's an equippable skill and not part of his default moveset. So it will never work in places where skills can't be used.
