Purple Stuff Becomes Blindingly Bright

I was running around white space really high up with Doom WIngs, when all of the purple goop that you need squid to move through, it all started shimmering like a supernova, making it almost impossible to see. I'm not sure why this happened. It happen to anybody else?

Definitely not for me. Can't imagine it's always been like that for you either, since you see the Doom Morph stuff well before getting Doom Wings. Did you install any mods or anything lately? Is it all the time or just sometimes? Could be a glitch. Would try disabling some mods and seeing if that helps, although I'm using quite a few and haven't run into any issues like that

It's not a recurring problem, I'd just not seen anyone else talk about it. I'll see if I can replicate it.
