This is just sad. I liked Medieval Dynasty, even tho it isnt a perfect game by any means either.. but this? I dont even know what to call it. Everything is clunky, buggy, and plain worse than in Medieval Dynasty. It feels like a bad tech demo for Medieval Dynasty, not the other way around.

Game design wise, it feels like you dont get to do the things you want at all. What do you need early on? Food! Hunters are locked behind dynasty level 7. We didnt even get that far before quitting for other reasons. Animals constantly attack you, so weapons would be great too. Dynasty level 11.. oh and it's not like they stop spawning just because you put your village there, nah. Character progression? Pretty much a placeholder. Forget about skill trees, you are lucky if the 2-3 perks even work.

Performance gets really bad, but maybe part of it was because i was hosting. Medieval Dynasty didnt run well either, but this is just a joke. I run a 3060 TI on a 7700k, and entering the first village i already dropped to 21 FPS. This game simply is not that demanding. I earn my living with software too. It just is not.

It feels like an empty husk of a game. When you skin animals there is no feedback whatsoever. No hit sound, no blood.. you stab your dagger next to a corpse into the ground with no visual or audio effect whatsoever, then the corpse disappears. We found trees that had no hitbox. Water only exists as a visual effect. Forget about swimming, you can just run through it as if it didnt exist at all. Truth be told, it will be a smoother ride than on actual ground since there wont be plants in your way. Villagers didnt figure out how to sleep yet. Drinking doesnt exist as a mechanic. I dont think you can get poisoned either. There is no weight restrictions anymore.. you can just walk around with 40 logs or so. Plenty of animations and interactions feel clunky as hell. Clients had tons of problems even swapping weapons in time to fend of animals sometimes. I think they tried to improve the UI, but it just somehow feels even less intuitive where things are. Menus feel too "artsy" imho, but maybe that's just me. The building mechanic is very similar, but the items needed for that part dont show when in the middle of the screen anymore. You cant even build paths anymore whatsoever.

TL;DR: Seriously? Sorry devs, but this feels like a proof of concept tech alpha that nobody should have to pay more than 5 bucks for. Certainly not worth the "full price" (measured in comparison with Medieval Dynasty) you are charging. It absolutely is not a full game yet, not even close. There might be potential with it, but as of right now, we feel scammed. If we still could, we would probably refund the game. In Medieval Dynasty you wanted to progress, here you just want to get it over with.
