I'm not fussed about the red dots; in fact I kinda prefer it since it means you keep looking at the pretty scenery to dodge monsters rather than the tiny bue map. I do care about filling out my monster guide and it looks as if that will be a pain since it looks like the actual info quartz is some time in coming not to mention that I was really looking forward to having the info ability with some decent elemental attributes for arts.
I played through FC twice to have both a full monster book and full BP...
Actually it was fixed a month ago at least. Are you still getting that bug? If yes, I suggest checking for updates on Steam client.
(Assuming you're not just searching for old topics without even checking by yourself, just with the purpose of bashing on this game, as you already did plenty of times on this forum before.)
Not in gog version. I don't use their client, but on their site there's only one file with patch, I already installed.
GOG has a different policy when dealing with patches, and only updates games every few months or so with several patches at a time, whereas Steam lets developers update their games as often as they want. That's pretty much the only thing I don't like about GOG. But all the bug fixes that have already been made by Sara on Steam will be brought over to GOG as well sooner or later, depending on when GOG staff will act.
