The rarer the fish, the faster the "!" will form.
Thanks, I'll try this.
Yeah, the problem is with rarer fish. I don't have the kind of reflexes for these trials.
And to clarify, I've been doing a " tap tap tap pause" rhythm, and the temp being determined by the speed of the three "..." chat bubbles after casting.
Tap once for each "." as it appears in the chat bubble. Hence the "tap, tap, tap, pause" rhythm (the pause being how long it takes for the next chat bubble to start at one "." again). Just keep the rhythm going and I've never had to pay attention to anything, really helpful as I tend to fall asleep on the casts that take 10+ minutes for a fish to bite).
- As long as you're tapping the button, no fish will show up.
- It generally takes 0.5 to 1 second for an exclamation mark to pop up after you stop tapping. Sometimes it takes more.
So when you start fishing, tap the button without much time in-between. Then slowly decrease the intervals between taps. You're pretty much bound to press the button at the right time whenever an exclamation mark appears.
It's pretty easy to learn and you'll never miss a fish again. If you think it's a bit too tricky to just tap, you can also mash the button with intervals. The method you use just depends on your preference, both are equally reliable.
Still, nice to know. I'd thank you, but you don't exist.

I had to. Thanks.
