Ok, so I need to fish out this Pearlglass fish.. Don't have the bamboo rod so I'm stuck with Progress Rod + Earthworm at the Elize Highway spot, correct?
Is there some trick to it? I've done it like 100+ times and just keep getting Carp, the occasional Trout, and most often "It got away" and it's starting to fudge me off :(

I had the same problem for a while, but I found out that the fishing spot on the Milch main road, the one that goes to Bose, works much better. I got mine after a few tries.

Having as much luck there as the other place... It's literally stopping me progressing, it's the last thing I have before moving on =(

If anyone has any tips for getting this without the bamboo rod besides earthworms + prayer. I would love to hear them.

After literally hours of trying I just gave up and left it for dead. Bugging the hell out of me that I didn't finish a quest, but having a quest reliant on pure RNG is a dumb idea anyway :/

I make this in my first try whit ( DUMPLINGS and BAMBOO FIHING ROD ) in ELIZE HIGWAY BRIDGE.

If you have the Bamboo Rod, use that and dumplings.

If you DON'T have that, use the first rod with earthworms in the pond to the west of Rolent. It's a very low percentage so just pray.

After 5 years wento to another run. Walkthroughs said to use snails. Well, 20+ snails, 50+worms did nothing, but Bamboo and 3 DUMPLINGS did the job. Thank you. Just had to say this cuz almost went crazy.

For those of you wondering where you can get dumplings, you can farm easily for dumplings on the malga trail from giant crop munchers. Crop munchers are those furry looking monsters holding a red fruit.
