Worth using tita?
Shes always so crazy underleveled for me in comparison to everyone else and gets punted around. But is she actually decent higher level?

Tita is amazeballs... seriously some of you can't into math.

I agree that she was almost useless in FC, but she seems to be quite useful this time around in SC, and the same goes with Olivier. In FC Tita was only really useful against many enemies at once, like... Fighting against normal monsters, while putting her in your party against the final boss was not really a good idea if you want to have the best party to defeat him. Olivier on the other hand the only thing good he had in FC was the freedom to place quartzs in his orbment like Tio in Zero/Ao, but in SC like Tita some of his crafts are much useful and he gains much more ATS than in the first game, he really deals enough damage with his arts to be even one of the best characters in SC unlike in FC that was one of the worst.

Err... are we playing the same games here or am I missing something? Olivier is one of the most versatile characters in the entire series and has the best single line orbment bar none. In FC I believe he's the *only* character that can even run Saint for example (not that I like it all that much). Along with Kloe he's got some of the highest ATS, has decent movement, health and ranged weapon that does decent damage. He's also one of only 2 chars that has a ranged AoE cp heal. How exactly did this make him "useless" in FC?

As for Tita, her role is an offensive support which means she takes the place of Kloe/Kevin (defensive supports) in the team or Olivier if you are using him as a kind of middling support (he's better as an offensive caster though). She'll generally be doing absolutely ludicrious amounts of damage because of her base attack being AoE and her cp skill being both ranged and AoE. While Agate is bashing some poor sob for like 800 Tita is gunning down 2 for 500 a piece. Even if she's only hitting a single target she beats out Olivier, Kevin and Kloe and holds her own vs Estelle and Zane. Tack on the fact that her AoE cp has a 100% blind on it and we're well on the way to one of the best characters. Not to mention you get more bang for buck on status quartz then any other character in the game. During boss fights and the like stat debuffs and healing is her specialty much like Kloe (surprise surprise right?). Most of them don't take overly much ep and her low ATS stat means little when she's healing someone for 3k. She can also compliment her healing with her "free" "instant cast" cp healing which for some crazy reason actually got a buff in SC. Her low health means little when you can blind everything or use a 1-2 combo smoke cannon/quick draw and watch everything die.

Chumps die with Tita around end of story. In fact, the only thing they usually see before they're all buried is darkness... which is suprisingly ruthless now that I think about it.

Anyways I rate Tita as such:

Cuteness 6/5
Awesomeness 6/5

There you go! A clear winner with all things important being weighed.

Are we reading the same post I wrote? Because it seems you're missing that I already said that Olivier has the best orbment in FC, but that aside he was not that much good as other characters. I didn't say that Tita and Olivier were useless, in the end in this game you can win without any problem with whoever you want, but still it doesn't change the fact that characters like Agate and Schera are still more good than Tita.

Yes, Olivier has a craft that heals the party but with only 800HP in FC, and unless it's a critical turn and you really need to heal your party ASAP is not worth it, why bother in spending his CP when you've La Teara? and you'll almost never use his remaining crafts because he doesn't have much ATK, unless you're fighting against a boss that you want to cancel his arts (and aside from the battle against Lorence there's not really much use there in FC), and ONLY his arts, because in FC it doesn't serve to cancel crafts as well, that's normally your top priority.

Again, yes, Tita is useful against many enemies at once, but she's not the best choice when it comes to fight against bosses, even if you give her the Defense quartz which is mandatory. I think that a character being more useful against bosses than with normal monsters if of course more important in the end, and again, I'm not saying like, is impossible to beat bosses with her around or something of the sort, just that other characters are more suitable for that.

This is a game where bosses do not come at you solo, so being able to hit multiple targets easily is still appreciated in boss fights. In any case, until the last chapter, being able to fight normal monsters more efficiently is much more useful than being more useful in bosses, because with very few exceptions, nearly nothing you encounter is immune to stat downs, so with one clock down solitary big things are of complete no threat to your party that can get like ten actions to their one. The biggest threats are the chest monsters (which features normal, often blind-vulnerable monsters that attack in masses), and marked monsters that also tend to carry large number of normal monsters with them. Being able to boss more efficiently is pretty much a moot point until you start fighting the enforcers in the final dungeon, and for the entire game before that Tita is still arguably one of the best character to bring to... just about everywhere.

Also one thing that nobody seemed to have point out is that Tita's S-craft hits 8 times for sepith turn bonuses, and unlike Pummel/Barrage/Sadist Whip hits a radius 4 circle, It's pretty much the next best thing to Aerial when it comes to milking sepith turn bonus, but unlike Aerial it's an S-craft and requires no turn order manipulation whatsoever to use. Tita's ability to quickly gather CP only adds to that.

1. Put M-area gun on Tita
2. Put 2 Tiger Hearts on her
3. Put attack and move orbment on her
4. Wipe encounters in one-shot
5. Laugh
P.S. Put orbment for earth wall on her for support
Quite efficient, imo

My apologies on that I should've typed 'useless' as you implied anyone else you could take was "better". But in that regard you can't simply hand wave away a particular characters strengths. Aside from Joshua's insane speed, massive attack stat, high health, Time quartz lock, AoE AT delays and battlefield wide S-craft he's just not that good i'm afraid I consider him the worst /eye roll. There's a difference between *you* having no use for Olivier's physical range attack, instant AoE cp heal, ranged impede, massive ATS stat and best orbment line and noone else finding that useful as all hell. Characters don't work in a vacuum either. It's kind of funny i've been having a bit of trouble fitting Tita in a group that feels just right. She's dropped a few more times then i would've liked and a certain "gotcha" fight at the end of chapter 2 makes her an actual detriment to said fight. In retrospect though, there are definitely things that I could do to completely change that. Schera's been sort of an enigma to me for awhile as well. Before Heaven's Kiss she's a "how the hell am I going to build her?" and after Kiss she becomes a 1-trick pony... and I dislike that. She's a hybrid support she really can go either way based on your play style and by either way I mean offensive physical support, offensive magical support, or defensive magical support. She's been worming her way into my heart of late.

Again, yes, Tita is useful against many enemies at once, but she's not the best choice when it comes to fight against bosses, even if you give her the Defense quartz which is mandatory. I don't roll with a defense quartz when running Tita and she performs just fine when the player behind her (ie me) isn't being an idiot. As RegalStar said there's plenty of boss fights with adds which means Tita is generally great for them. But even for single boss fights she does all the stuff your support should be doing just as well as the others can (healing/buffing) and personally I consider her placeable AoE instant cp heal "the best" (though you could certainly argue for Kevin's being such). She's a more than viable choice all around.

Lulz that sounds pretty wrecking ball.. i'll have to try it sometime.

Tita is very useful. I dont see why any party config shouldn't have her in there. She sole weakness is her tactical orbment arrangement, hence, she lack higher level art, but that can be cover by Kloe/Olivier. Give her heaven's eye, and the top tier Move, Attack, Action, Petrify, Impede, and Shield. She is a war machine, just look at her s-craft and you know it.

All characters are heavily dependant on what they're equipped with and as long as you aren't going for an extreme min/max setup, you can have any character fill any role basically... here's how I usually classify characters though to keep from overlapping roles unless the fight ahead needs specific tactics to win...

Agate/Zane: physical attackers/tanky (low arts)
Kloe/Olivier/Kevin: arts attackers/healers (low physical)
Schera/Estelle/Joshua: jack of all trades (role depends on equipment)
Tita: long range physical attacker/arts support (better arts than Agate/Zane)

tita seems ok in this game. her crowd control is quite helpful if you equip her right.

the only party member i'm finding really useless is Scherazard.

I've used Tita a ton in the game, but it seems in chp 7, she's starting to fall off due to those damn Enforcers...

I brought Tita into both fights with a certain Enforcer and had no issues. Her L range S-Craft also helped quite a bit in the first fight, enabling me to take out some of those stupid minions before they got their surprise shots off.

indeed
I can't find a good niche for charazard
for a physical attacker, tita, agate, zane, and joshua are all better. Tita's got best range/AoE, Agate has best damage, Joshua has AT delay, Zane has extreme beef and that super buff to give him huge damage, and OP thunder god kick
and then as an offensive caster, Kloe and Olivier get higher damage

if anyone has any good ideas, lemme know

and btw I use Estelle as a tanky support caster. stack as much defense (and speed) on her as I can and spam buffs and debuffs

Schera has like 1 purpose... to spam heaven's kiss. I'm definitely planning on bringing Tita along for a certain Enforcer.... I've found her Vital Canon to be incredibly imbalanced, but sadly she's been having troubles surviving more than 1 hit haha.

That's pretty much what i've done when i took her in my party past chapter 4 :') She's fine overall, she can do everything decently, but i admit i don't use her anymore myself

Better Crafts, than Oliver and Better slots for combat arts, than Kloe.
She works well for me as primary and support caster.

I think she is fun to play with. And she is really good when you get a lot of enemies at the same time. Bosses are sometimes harder with her though.
The nameless Gamer 2015년 11월 13일 오후 4시 12분
As long as you can keep her alive, Tita can be tremendously useful. The Smoke Cannon can shut down a large group of enemies which don't rely on arts and aren't resistant to blindness, her Vital Cannon 2 heals 3500 HP and cures all ailments. Finally, her second S-craft is great if you can activate it on a critical hit. Casting Earth Guard, Crest/A-crest and feeding her defense-upping food helps keeping her alive. So the answer is yes, totally worth using.
