Best scene
Now that a lot of people have finished the game, what's your top 3 moment of both game.
On another thread someone shared this link http://www.esterior.net/2014/10/final-results-for-the-kiseki-series-tenth-anniversary-national-survey/ About the best moment in all the kiseki saga, the first three come from SC and the fourth come from FC.
I'm surprised by the result of the poll ( the 2nd and 3rd ).

Well here-the-moment-that-everyone-was-waiting-for-even-if-they-didn't-know my top 3 moment.

1 FC ending.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3r6cvhkUgHQ

Only the 4th scene in the poll. But it's by far, for me, the most memorable moment in both game. Until this moment it was a good Happy End. Of course with some unsolved question, but they are left for the sequel. And then our favorite professor with spiky blue hair who has a thing for ring, appear from nowhere and says to you 'no no no it's not the end you have only played the prologue'. And the Ending song... JUST the right tone !

2 The beach scene.

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=546943572

It was the first scene in the poll in ALL the kiseki saga. And it deserve it. I didn't expect Estelle to bring back Joshua at her first try. And damn our Number-One-Joshua-Watcher is good at talking, without it seems like too unnatural, nothing less. ( remember when she talked with alan richard at the end of FC ? )

3 Meet the Prince.
Really ? Not even in the top 10 of the serie ? This scene want to make you play Cold Steel, and it's great at it. You realize the importance of Oliver The Hunter Of Love in the game, no he isn't an idiot pervert moron ... ( well he is a little... but not only... ) he's also imo the most important team charactere with Estelle and Joshua. He was looking for cassius to prevent a war...
And Kloe too... First time she plays her role as the heir to the throne.

sorry for engrish ^^

I don't know why but i was like ' what oliver is a prince.. but come on .... it doesn't make any sense at all....' and then ' Oh yeah he's a bastard.... that explain everything o_o ' .... I really don't know why :olivier:

And i didn't like the SC ending as much as i like the FC one.... it doesn't has an enough impact in front of the first one.... but the cassius entrance omg.... of course ragnard was obvious, but cassius... awesome.... well i call it now we'll meet him at the end of sen 3 :D

I'd say the most memorable moment with the best line came from Cassius in the scene for Chapter 6 End "The Whereabouts of Bonds" (in Grancel Castle with everyone together), explaining how everyone is irrevocably linked together, for good or bad. The power of bonds. It pretty much explains the overarching theme of the entire game.

I haven't completed the entire game yet, though. But that scene spoke to me deeply because I'm a socialist.

Estelle's flashback/dream in Chapter 4.

The entire Battleship Glorious section, up until the end of Chapter 6 would be my second choice. So many great moments.

Every scene named I can fully agree with. No one mentioned the animated cutscenes though... The one for when the giant "you-know-what" appears between Ch 7 and 8 gave me goosebumps that I haven't had while watching an animated cutscene since FF7. I also want to mention the trailer for SC that played after the end credits for FC, dat remix. XD

Estelle's flashback and her reunion with joshua at the beach (which both play the same music) would be my top 2.
Weissmann's death is chilling, and a perfect set-up for The 3rd given what's implied about Kevin and Campanella. I also really love Schera and Luciola's final talk, plus the Haken Gate negotiation and the Chapter 6 beach reunion. Joshua's description of what he personally did at Hamel made me cry; I think he's still holding back the most painful details and can't bear to speak of them, at least not until after SC.

The dialogue after Joshua and Estelle escape the Glorious, where Joshua is open about how he feels for the first time, was heartbreaking. It really ought to share the spotlight with the beach scene.

Estelle's dialogue when Weissmann orders Joshua to end her life in Axis Pillar is also another powerful scene which also shows how much she has developed over the two games.

Estelle's dream involving her mom also pulled on the old heart strings, it makes you wonder what things could've been like if she survived.

For me it was; 1. When Estelle started playing the harmonica in her dream and 2. The Tita/Agate moment. 3. The beach scene.

Finding out Olivier that is a prince was wayyyy too obvious. I called it before he left in Ch7(guessed he was either royalty or very high nobility, either a duke or a marquis). The way Müller behaves(and is so powerful), while it seems he is superior to Olivier, is actually subservient to him. He is, and it was plain for all to see too, a minder for Olivier. Especially when Olivier said the next time they met would be as enemies. A simple citizen of the Empire would not have the authority to say it with such conviction.

Kudos to Falcom for the very expressive characters and to XSEED for their stellar translation. It speaks a lot of the companies behind the game, how their characters appear very human and very understandable.

1) the beach scene. A woman who wants to shoulder your burden equally is definitely a keeper.
2) when Richard and the Intelligence Division showed up to stop the Grancel Invasion. I mean, who saw THAT coming?!
3) the scene with Tita caring for Agate after he gets injured. Their relationship is so adorable! Plus Agate got some major character development. He could always use more of that.

And thus Agate becomes a lolicon.

There are truckloads of cool scenes in SC. Aside from the ones mentioned here already:

- The girl-talk scene Estelle and Kloe have in the auditorium. And the slightly-follow-up scene they have on board the Cecilia after leaving Grancel.

- The practice session in Fort Leiston after Chapter 2.

- Both scenes that feature Alan Richard. The one at the end of Chapter 8 was awesome and it was a massive rush to see those aggravating halbert wielding spec ops from the first game completely mop the floor with the society forces. But I also really liked the scene where he appeared before the captured Amalthea and had that talk with her. No wonder folks in Liberl were petitioning for his release. :)
